It was a normal day. I was browsing the Internet, looking at the latest trends, when the power suddenly went out. Every electronic was dead. I heard a noise. It sounded like footsteps. It got closer and closer. I hid in the closet. I heard the door open. I looked to see what it was. Before I knew it, I was down to the floor, struggling to get up. Something hit me in the back of the head, and I was out cold.
The next thing I remember is that I was in a van, tied up. At least, that is what my kidnapper thought. I twisted and turned until my right arm was free. I reached for a knife that was on a shelf in the van and cut myself free. I opened the van door and tumbled out. I got up and looked around. I saw something that I couldn't make out. I walked closer to it. Then I saw it. A human body. I was scared. I ventured deeper into the woods. There were more human bodies, some missing body parts. I was terrified, but I kept going deeper. Eventually, I was out of the woods. There it was, my house. I thought of something. There was a serial killer on the loose in my neighborhood, using the woods to hide the victims' bodies. I was up all night thinking about what I had witnessed. The power was still out, so I couldn't do any research.
The next morning, I called the police to tell them about what I had experienced last night. They launched an investigation. As of this writing, it's still ongoing. Recently, I had forgotten this experience until the power went out in my neighbor's house. A couple of days later, my neighbor was reported missing. I did some research. The woods in my neighborhood were a hiding spot for serial killers to hide the bodies of their victims. One day, I got a mysterious email. I opened it. It read, "i know you are looking for me, but you will not stop me. sorry i missed you, but i hope you'll enjoy this." There was a video attached to the email. The video was of a blonde girl who looked to be 20. The killer knocked her out and dragged her to a gray van. He drove to the woods. He slit her throat and started slicing her open. What he did next was so disturbing, I refuse to speak of it. When he finished, he dragged her into the woods. The video ended. Since I got the email, several other people in my neighborhood have gone missing, their power going out before. I'm scared. I could be next.
